My first period in class just ended and I felt so bored. I don’t really like my schedule this semester. I have long vacant time in between my classes. That’s why I’m here in the internet cafe near to our school. I just want to make use of the time. Now that I’m in front of the computer, I am still bored. So I took pictures of myself using the webcam. Read the rest of this entry »
Carpenters are involved in many different kinds of construction, from the building of highways and bridges to the installation of kitchen cabinets. Carpenters must have good eye-hand coordination, physical fitness, and a good sense of balance. I miss my blog - SPLENDOR OF LOVE so much. It has been more than two weeks that my blog server was disabled by a hosting company. I used to open it and reread my old entries each time I am using the internet. I feel so sad that I still don’t know and have no assurance if it’ll be fixed by the hosting company. That is the only blog where I shared my most emotional experience in life. It is where I mostly express all of my feeling especially about my love life. It means a lot to me. I am not doing this to bring back all my hardest times. But by reading again and again those entries, it makes me realize of who I am before and who I am now. It makes me think of how I faced the trials and hurts, as well as how I’ve moved on. That blog treasures my experiences and my learnings in the realities of life. I just hope, it won’t be lost forever. It will be my guide of how to face my next challenges in life. I will do better next time. If only I can ask to them even just the whole blog file ready for export, if they can’t really put back all the blogs. These are the last entries I made in my blog… Read the rest of this entry »
Last Monday, it was my first time to wear my school uniform. I was so excited and felt so great wearing my new school uniform and school shoes. When my classmates saw me, they were all teasing me that finally I’m wearing the uniform. I feel like I was a high school student because my uniform’s design is almost just like what I had in Ateneo. I have never celebrated Christmas with my whole family for three years since I moved to Cebu City. The first Christmas I spent without them was so boring. I and my older brother, Clint, just slept all night at our apartment after we ate our dinner at the church’s celebration. Then on the following year, I was with my sister-in-law’s family. It was my very first time to celebrate Christmas with a different family. And the funny experience during that time was I didn’t expect they will be having an exchange gifts. I was so embarrassed that I have nothing to give to them back but I received many gifts from them. Then on the third or just last year, my parents and my younger sister went to Cebu to celebrate Christmas with us. But then we’re still not complete.
Yesterday, I met my cousin, Anne. I wasn’t able to recognize her right away because she lose weight. She told me that she just had her chicken pox. I let her visit in our house because it may be our last time to see each here in Cebu. I told her that I’ll be going home by next week. So we planned how we could enjoy that day together. It so happen that her brother was also in our house to demonstrate about his internet business. While they were discussing with my older brother too, we offered them beers. And then later on we bought “balut.”
Then Anne invited to me to go out. But before that, she asked me if I have been in a club or bar. Well honestly, I’m quite afraid to that kind of place. So we decided to go outside with no plans where we would exactly go. After a long walk, we end up in a poker room. She thought I knew how to play poker. But when she realized it, she just laughed at me. And so she taught me how to play it. It is such a memorable night for me because it was my very first time to play poker.
Two weeks from now, I will be going home in Davao City. That’s why I’m pretty busy these days on processing my school papers from my previous school. It may take couple of days before I can complete them all such as my transcript of records and other important files. Since I don’t have a fix date of when I can have all the things that I needed, I searched the Travel Platform to know when I can avail discounts in booking my ticket. Read the rest of this entry »
Mother’s Day is an occasion when individuals express their love and respect that they have for their mother. A celebration of motherhood. Here in Philippines, it is usually celebrated every second Sunday of May. Mothers’ Day is the best time to say in words how much you love and care for your mum. Remember that our mom is the greatest gift that one can ever receive in a lifetime. Mother’s Day gives you the opportunity to show all your heartfelt love for the person you perhaps care more than any one else in this world. A nice way to make your mom feel precious is to send her some sweets with bunch of flowers. You can also celebrate Mom with a gift based on her hobbies or interests. Read the rest of this entry »

A reliable computer is a great asset, but at some point some of us has probably experienced some kind of hardware failure. It really sucks when you loose stuff in your computer. If our computer dies, that’s a lot of lost memories. To make our crucial files safe, it’s now realistic to back up significant amounts of data online. I have hundreds of pictures on my computer. And I couldn’t afford to loose all my captured moments. Therefore, I must secure online data storage.
I’ve seen other online backup services before, but I did not put more attention so much to it. Not a whole lot of people spend enough time to backup and protect their data from potential disaster. Basically, all of our valuable and important information is protected - documents, spreadsheets, presentations, project plans, contact lists, music, videos, photos, etc. Any kind of file that I create or collect can be protected at all times in Offsite Backup Solutions.
(Isaiah 45:22) Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (23) I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear
It has been estimated that there has been approximately 162 billion human beings on the earth since the beginning, of which it is also estimated that 4 billion have been true saints of God. We have been told that the 158 billion souls all went to hell forever because they never responded to the gospel . . . was that fair? Was that really a true statement? Are we to believe that our loving and wise God who is ‘mercy- FULL’ has been in full control all along? Yes, of course He has, for the truth from the scriptures declares the great and wise plan that God has had all along.
I loved this movie because it is one of the best movies I have seen in 2008. I also loved the twist at the end. It is the movie about cards and mathematics, so it can’t be action from the beginning until the end. In short, the child stars of this movie, with their brash, confident, over the top attitudes would have been detected almost immediately.
I’m not much of a card player and I don’t watch poker on television. However, my older brother and I found the movie very enjoyable! It is clever and very funny at times too. It’s worth the money go see it. 21 Movie is perfect for a simple entertainment. This movie is inspired by a true story of the young minds in MIT Blackjack Team. Read the rest of this entry »
