Have you heard of a place called Chania? It is the second to the largest city located in the north-western coast of Crete. The prefecture of Chania has many beauties among which its numerous beaches.

Paleochora is one of th beautiful long sandy beaches they have, a little exposed to the west wind which often blows there. It is suitable so much for swimming, as much as for sport activities because its weather conditions are favorable for windsurfing and kite surfing.

Elafonisi is a lovely islet which is characterized by pink and white sand and turquoise water. Elafonisi is fantastic and I think it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete. A shelf of water only knee deep separates the beach from the Elafonisi Islet with its sand dunes and semi-secluded coves - a truly breathtaking sight.

Golden Beach, is named after Chrissi Akti because of its incredible color of the sand on this beautiful beach.
