Christmas is nearly coming! You can finally count the weeks with your fingers. And another big season for the whole world to celebrate! Christmas time is what we usually believed as the month when Jesus Christ was born. As a celebration, all the members of the family come together in Christmas Eve.
As part of the celebration, giving or exchanging gifts to our loved ones is being practiced. Are you worrying what to buy and wrap as your Christmas gift? To make a difference from giving the same kind of gifts, here’s a better idea I can suggest. Read the rest of this entry »
Many Filipinos nowadays are flying to other countries such as Dubai, Australia and America to work or just to have fun-filled vacation or even looking for places to live. When people try to visit those places, they easily fell in love to it. Because it’s totally different from the environment of our country. Just like my friend’s testimony when he got there in New York, for him, it is such a wonderful state and the Grand Canyon is indescribable! Read the rest of this entry »
Last Monday, it was my first time to wear my school uniform. I was so excited and felt so great wearing my new school uniform and school shoes. When my classmates saw me, they were all teasing me that finally I’m wearing the uniform. I feel like I was a high school student because my uniform’s design is almost just like what I had in Ateneo. Yesterday, I met my cousin, Anne. I wasn’t able to recognize her right away because she lose weight. She told me that she just had her chicken pox. I let her visit in our house because it may be our last time to see each here in Cebu. I told her that I’ll be going home by next week. So we planned how we could enjoy that day together. It so happen that her brother was also in our house to demonstrate about his internet business. While they were discussing with my older brother too, we offered them beers. And then later on we bought “balut.”
Then Anne invited to me to go out. But before that, she asked me if I have been in a club or bar. Well honestly, I’m quite afraid to that kind of place. So we decided to go outside with no plans where we would exactly go. After a long walk, we end up in a poker room. She thought I knew how to play poker. But when she realized it, she just laughed at me. And so she taught me how to play it. It is such a memorable night for me because it was my very first time to play poker.
Two weeks from now, I will be going home in Davao City. That’s why I’m pretty busy these days on processing my school papers from my previous school. It may take couple of days before I can complete them all such as my transcript of records and other important files. Since I don’t have a fix date of when I can have all the things that I needed, I searched the Travel Platform to know when I can avail discounts in booking my ticket. Read the rest of this entry »

(Isaiah 45:22) Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. (23) I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear
It has been estimated that there has been approximately 162 billion human beings on the earth since the beginning, of which it is also estimated that 4 billion have been true saints of God. We have been told that the 158 billion souls all went to hell forever because they never responded to the gospel . . . was that fair? Was that really a true statement? Are we to believe that our loving and wise God who is ‘mercy- FULL’ has been in full control all along? Yes, of course He has, for the truth from the scriptures declares the great and wise plan that God has had all along.

Long time ago in our church, we met a missionary named Brother Shane Grady. He used to visit us here in Philippines once or twice a year. Each time he visits us, we accommodate him in the parsonage with all the best that we can. It is very common to us Filipinos, being very hospitable to our visitors. That’s why Brother Shane is very nice to us also. Before leaving the country, he used to buy Philippine gifts as a souvenir to his family and friends in America. Read the rest of this entry »
Last New Year’s Eve, my friends brought me cookies as gifts from one of the best cookie company in the world - the san francisco cookie company. It’s the only company making all natural gourmet cookies. The reason I loved those cookies because from its box alone, I’m already impressed with the design. The cookies are made up of oats which are heart healthy and loads of chocolates. From then on, I always buy cookies from them. I think I can save money more when buying cookies instead of buying chocolates and oats separately. At least it is all in one. There are no days that I can’t eat my milk chocolate chip flavored cookies. And so I considered this year as my year of cookies. Read the rest of this entry »
I’ve been staying here in Cebu with my older brother and his wife for about three years. Since they got married last year, they are both very busy with their work. Sometimes, they don’t have time to clean the house. And so I am the one helping them in maintaining the cleanliness of their house.
Much of our waste can be recycled and should be disposed of separately to general household waste. There is still a great deal of waste which could be recycled that ends up in landfill sites which is harmful to the environment. Instead of throwing our recyclable materials into the appropriate recycling bins, sometimes I use a bit of imagination and put them to good use in creating something new. I suggested to my brother to buy some attractive containers for recycling so that it won’t look messy outside the house. Read the rest of this entry »
It’s 2 o’clock in the morning now and I’m still doing this blog. Well, I and my brother just finish watching a break dancing video in the internet. The dancers were really fantastic that they seem to be not a normal human being anymore because of their movements. They had this amazing steps like floating with just one arm that supports from the floor, they do move their whole body like a windmill and they crazily move their hands and feet so fast! While watching the video, we can’t even take a glance so that we can’t miss a single move of those dancers. How I wish, I’m like them..hehehe..
Then we also watched the video of Bb. Pilipinas World 2008. I think this is the most humiliating role ever happened in the history of Bb. Pilipinas. This video reaches more than one million views.

Last November, I joined a call center training. In the training we were taught how to deal with costumers. According to our trainer, Jed Narvios, that there are many types of costumers. Other costumers could be amiable or irate. In a call center, there are two types also of outsourcing. It can be inbound or outbound costumer service. An inbound call center means that the costumers are the one who call the agent. And an outbound call center means that the agents are the one who call the costumers. Read the rest of this entry »
Here’s another horoscope for me… “Getting what you want can be just as disorienting as not getting it. You’re figuring out that contentment doesn’t come from stuff or jobs or relationships — it comes from within. Some people never get that.”
haha..:D not that I really really believe in horoscopes, I mean, they’re mere hunches.. and the probability of psychics getting the correct interpretation of your future could be like one over a thousand, or a million even! so diba? they arent accurate all the time.. and if your horoscope does happen, its because a.) you made it happen, or b.) the psychic guy/girl just got lucky! hehe.:D
The line..”what you want can be just as disorienting as not getting it…” really struck me. At this time, what I really want is to have a job. But it’s almost three months I’ve been applying to different companies, still I’m not yet hired. Looking for a job was a big pressure to me. One reason is, I hate staying at home everyday! The routines I am doing everyday…waking up late in the morning, cleaning the house, surfing the net, preparing food for meals, watching t.v and sleeping makes me feel boring…VERY BORING. Second is, I want to earn money so that I can have savings for the next school year on my tuition. Third, I want to change my environment and to explore something new. I just broke up with my boyfriend and I believe having a work will help me to move on and stop thinking about the pains I felt. And the last reason why I am pressured is, my friends and especially my brother has been expecting me each time I went home that I got hired.
Now, there are no days that I am not upset because I can’t have of what I really want! But I believe God is preparing something great for me and why I am hurting for this as always. T_T … I always feel so tiring but I’m wondering to myself that I’m still not giving up. Maybe there’s something inside me, a HOPE that never loose. I pray that someday, I can have what I want. “Let all THY ways be established!”
